When he was 22 years old, David injured his spinal cord in a construction accident, and lost the use of both his arms and his legs. At a crossroad in his life, he decided to meet the challenge head on: he returned to college, earned his doctorate in clinical psychology, began a teaching career, and established a respected psychotherapy practice. David's injury reduced his physical ability to be creative in how he views his surroundings, but it didn't reduce his great curiosity about people and his passion to create. In 1998, with the help of family and friends, he discovered a new outlet for the personal expression of his artistic passion: drawing and painting.
Still active as a psychotherapist and motivation speaker, David's life view inspires his art.
